  • I am an in-network provider for Aetna.

For all other insurance carriers, I am out of network. You may have out-of-network benefits that include reimbursement of therapy.

    Here’s how reimbursement works:

Clients pay for their session then file a claim with their insurance carrier. Reimbursement comes directly from your carrier. Along with your claim, you’ll need a Superbill—an invoice of our session—which I provide.

Please note: Superbills require a formal diagnosis and for this reason, some clients decide not to seek reimbursement for their sessions.

  • Prior to starting counseling, please contact your insurance carrier and inquire about your out-of-network benefits.

Here are some starter questions to ask:

    • Does my insurance plan cover out-of-network providers for mental health treatment?

    • Will I receive reimbursement for working with Virginia Moore, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (license number: 61597872)?

    • Do I have an out-of-network deductible for mental health treatment, and if so, how much of my deductible has been met?

    • How much reimbursement will I receive per session?

    • How do I submit an out-of-network claim?

    • How long will it take to receive my reimbursement?

    • Are telehealth sessions covered?

    • Does my plan limit the number of therapy sessions available?

These questions are not all-encompassing and do not guarantee benefits/coverage. Payment is due at the time of services.

Unless previously arranged, all clients are required to keep a credit card on file.

  • As of January 1, 2022 all healthcare professionals are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) to clients prior to their care. This law helps inform clients of potential expenses, particularly for the uninsured and those opting for private pay.
