Do you accept insurance?

My practice is private pay, and I offer superbills for those seeking reimbursement from their insurance carrier.

What should I know about reimbursement?

Prior to starting counseling, please contact your insurance carrier and inquire about your out-of-network benefits.

Here are some starter questions to ask:

  • Does my insurance plan cover out-of-network providers for mental health treatment?

  • Will I receive reimbursement for working with Virginia Moore, a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (#MC61315800)?

  • Do I have a out-of-network deductible for mental health treatment, and if so, how much of my deductible has been met?

  • How much reimbursement will I receive per session?

  • How do I submit an out-of-network claim?

  • How long will it take to receive my reimbursement?

  • Are telehealth sessions covered?

  • Does my plan limit the number of therapy sessions available?

These questions are not all-encompassing and do not guarantee benefits/coverage. Payment is due at the time of services. Unless previously arranged, all clients are required to keep a credit card on file.

What is a Good Faith Estimate?

As of January 1, 2022 all healthcare professionals are required to provide a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) to clients prior to their care. This law helps inform clients of potential expenses, particularly for the uninsured and those opting for private pay.

GFEs estimated by V are for weekly counseling for one year. Of course, the frequency and duration of counseling may decrease/increase based on complexity and the emergence of new presenting challenges.
